On behalf of me and my team at MedicalworldNigeria.com, we wish to say a big thank you to the team, voice and officers behind the police complaint desk.

You guys are the new breed of police Nigerians yearn for and are creating a new image for the Nigerian police one Nigerian at a time.

To the Officer who took my call on 08057000001 (#CRU331614), I say a big thank you. You offered an unbiased and non judgmental listening ear, with an open mind and empathy you spoke like we knew each other. Yesterday, you were the I.G of police to a heartbroken me, tony and Fejiro. Your prompt response left me in awe.

To the officer handling the Nigerian police complaint ‘twitter handle’, how can i say thank you. Fejiro finally didn't get to spend the night detained and locked up because he took a picture of an officer; I knew it was you'all pulling the strings.

It is my sincere hope that this public show of appreciation on our website that boasts of a daily page view of 20,000 and on our social media pages (Facebook page of 23k Fans, twitter 3k) would in its own little way help remold the public image of the Nigerian police force. It would be unfair to you and your team if we fail to spread the word that all hope is not lost within the force.

I urge all medical and healthcare professionals to save the numbers below on their phone as it could be any one of us tomorrow; the police complaint unit may be all that stands between you and extortion, between you and paying for bail, between you and being detained unjustly.

We have put this incidence behind us; the vehicle papers and license were released to our staffs at about 11:15Hrs today and they are en-route portharcourt as I write this appreciation note.

To the officers at the Adesuwa police station on sapele road in Edo state, kindly help Yemi Shogunle to build a police force of his dreams.

Fejiro took a picture of you, he got slapped and was also accused of "taking to flight" but we forgive you. He forgives you.

Shogunle Yemi and his team have lit a candle in our heart that bears no grudge.

Shogunle Yemi  is our hero.
