A Health Maintenance Organisations, Mediplan Healthcare Ltd., has received the African Quality Achievement Award for Quality Healthcare Service Delivery for the year 2015.
A press release by the HMO said the award was organised by the African Quality Institute, which is charged with the responsibility of developing quality professionals and implementing African programmes on quality management and assurance. At the award’s presentation last Thursday, Mr. Michael Abugu said the idea was to recognise and reward organisations in different sectors of the economy that have maintained consistent best practices when it comes to quality standards.
The Acting Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Mediplan, Dr. Benebo Victor, said the award was a reflection of the company’s commitment to quality, “because Mediplan does not compromise when it comes to quality in health care services, making us the preferred choice of most organisations and individuals when it comes to quality healthcare delivery.”
