The National Malaria Elimination Program (NMEP), Federal ministry of health abuja has Vacancies for Monitoring and Evaluation Manager

 

RESPONSIBLITIES

Supervise staff carrying out all M&E activities related to GF including analysis of data generated from data verification visits and preparation of reports

Planing and coordination of field operations and data managment related to GF

Ensure timely implementation of all M&E activities stipulated in the aproved GF work plan

Take lead in the preparatin and submission of NMEP quaterly report to GF

Provide strategic linkages between the GF M&E activities and the national M&E plan to ensure adhrence to the three-ones

Plan and coordinate quarterly data verification/validation visits to selected facilities in GF supported states; coordinate validation of PRs' semestrual PUDR submisssions to NMEP

Monitor PRs/States contracts/ MOU with regards to adherence to the terms related to M&e for the grant

Coordinate the collation of routine malaria commodity utilization and survellance data for GF supported states

 

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILSS:

MBBS/B.Sc (health related field) with at least 6 years post qualification experience

MPH/M.Sc (Public Health)

At least five years experience in monitoring and evaluation of malaria program/projects

Proficiency in MS word, excel, powerpoint and other computer skills

Excellent comunication skills (written, spoken, presentation)

 

Duration of contract: Ony year at the first instance; renewable subject to satisfactory performance and or continuation of grant
