This is to inform the graduands of the school of Post Basic Nursing Studies, Orthopaedic Nursing and Accident and Emergency Nursing (2012/2013 and 2013/2014 sets) and graduands of Orthopaedic Health Assistant School (1st -- 5th sets) of National Orthopaedic Hospital Igbobi Lagos that the Joint Convocation Ceremony of the schools for the award of certificates and presentation of prizes will take place on Tuesday, 24th November, 2015 in the FECOT LECTURE THEATRE at 10.00am prompt.

 

BRIEF FOR GRADUANDS

Graduands are please requested to note the following information:

1. Each graduand shall be allowed a maximum of two (2) guests. Invitation cards to such guests will be issued to graduands when they arrive to collect their academic outfit. Children will not be allowed into the Convocation Hall.

 

It is mandatory for all graduands to pay for the following items, irrespective of whether or not they attend the convocation ceremony.

(i) SCHOOL OF POST BASIC NURSING STUDIES

[a] Hiring of Academic Outfits - 2,000.00

[b] Order of Proceedings/Certificate Scroll - 1,000.00

[c] A refundable deposit of N5, 000.00 payable in cash to the School Graduation Committee Officer hiring the gown. This payment is outside the non-refundable fee of N3, 000.00 above.

 

(ii) ORTHOPAEDIC HEALTH ASSISTANT SCHOOL

[a] Hiring of Academic Outfits - 2,000.00

[b] Order of Proceedings/Certificate Scroll - 1,000.00

[c] A refundable deposit of N2, 000.00 payable in cash to the School Graduation Committee Officer hiring the gown. This payment is outside the non-refundable fee of N3, 000.00 above. 

[d] Academic outfit, other of proceedings and certificates scroll will be available for collection from Friday 20th November, 2015 in the various schools on presentation of evidence of payment of appropriate charges.

[e] Graduands are expected to attend a rehearsal of the academic procession which will hold at 2.00pm on Monday 23rd November, 2015 in the School Premises.

[f] All graduands are expected to be formerly dressed in English wear [i.e. Suits, Shirts and Tie for men and Skirt Suit/ Shirt and blouse or gown for ladies] or full National dress.

[g] All hired gowns should be returned by the graduands to School’s Graduation Committee Officer not later than Friday 26th November, 2015. Gowns returned after that date will attract a fine of Five Hundred Naira [N500.00] only per day.

[h] All payments except the refundable fees should be paid into the Hospital Account.

[i] Admission into the Convocation Hall will be strictly by invitation
