The meeting between the federal government and the Joint Health Sector Unions yesterday was deadlocked.
The meeting which started at around 6:30pm ended early hours of today with little or no success story as it were, therefore the strike continues. The Federal Government led by the supervising Minister of Labour and Productivity continued to dilly dally in releasing respective circulars.
Present at the meeting included Minister of State health, Chairman National Salary and Wages Commission, top government officials from the Budget office and directors from the FMoH. AMLSN National President, Alh T. Y Raheem was represented at the meeting by Soji Billyrose, National Assistant Secretary, AMLSN.
