Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission, NCPC, has concluded arrangement to introduce online medical examination in the selection of Federal Medical Team for the pilgrimage exercise.

Opara emphasized the need for the Federal Medical Committee to strive for excellence and perfection in carrying out their medical assignment.

He explained that with online medical examination, medical personnel from all parts of the country do not need to converge in Abuja to sit for the medical examination.

Opara further explained that this innovation would add to the credibility and transparency of the examination which would be conducted online within one hour and the result would be made available online for the candidates without delay.

The Executive Secretary also hinted that the commission would establish an In- House Clinic to be used by staff which would also serve as secretariat for the Federal Medical Committee.

Earlier, the Chairman of the Federal Medical committee, Dr. Joseph Ahmedu thanked the NCPC boss for the opportunity to serve.

He commended the Executive Secretary for the renovation of the Commission’s Clinic at the Nigerian Embassy in Tel-Aviv, Israel.

He decried the lack of sufficient number of state medical team membersduring pilgrimage exercise to complement the effort of the federal Medical Committee.
