The Nigerian Union of Allied Health professionals have held a leaders caucus meeting at the national secretariat at ile ife to consider the suspended nationwide strike and to chart the way forward.
Medicalworld Nigeria has gathered from a reliable source that it was agreed at the meeting to keep up the pressure by writing Mr. President, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan to keep to his promise bearing in mind that the election has been shifted to 28th of March, 2015 which gives the president six weeks to attend to their demands
You will recall that NUAHP started her strike on the 16th October, 2014 and the strike was suspended jointly with JOHESU on the 2nd of February, 2015.
NUAHP warned that if the Government fails to attend to their demand come 9th of March, 2015 they may be forced to resume the strike action.
