Nurses Solicit ABU Support in Healthcare Delivery

The National Association of Nigerian Nurses and Midwives, health services unit Ahmadu Bello University Zaria branch, has solicited support of the entire management of the University to enable the association improve its humanitarian services on health care delivery.
 
This was contained in a statement by the Chairman of the association, Comrade Yusuf Danlami Haruna and made available to newsmen yesterday in Gusau, Zamfara state capital.
 
The newly elected executive members made the plea during solidarity visit to the office of Vice Chancellor of ABU. Professor Mustapha Abdullahi in Zaria.
 
 
University management and improve the existing cordial relationship between the association and ABU governing councils with a view to enable the association meet the lots of the entire people living within and outside the University campus.
 
Danladi further applauded the effort of the ABU management under the administration of Professor Mustapha Abdullahi in boosting the well-being of members of the National Association of Nigerian Nurses and Midwives Health Services unit.
 
He described the gesture as commendable, stressing further that, it will go a long way in enhancing the morale of the entire members of the association.
 
Responding, Vice Chancellor Ahmadu Bello University, Professor Mustapha Abdullahi congratulated the newly elected executive members of the association over their recent convention.
 
Professor Mustapha called on the leadership of the association to ensure the exercise of their primary responsibilities based on the codes and ethics of their professions and always remain courageous and dedicated in serving the humanity.
 
He pledged to give all the logistics support to the association to attain the desired goals.
