Ondo FMC Doctors Seek Removal Of CMD

Doctors at the Federal Medical Centre, Owo Ondo State have called for the immediate removal of the Chief Medical Director of the hospital, Dr. Adediran KLolajo, who they alleged of being tyrannical in the administration of the hospital.
 
 Kolajo replaced the former CMD of the hospital, Dr Olufemi Omotoso, in the interim, following his development from the Federal Ministry of Health some monthes ago to oversee the affairs of the institution pending the appointment of a substantive CMD.
 
While addressing journalists at the hospital on Wednesday the President of the Association of Resident of the Association of Resident Doctors of FMC, Owo, Dr. Isaiah Oke, alleged that the interim administrator was victimising his members and denying them of their entitlements.
 
Oke urged the Federal Government to conduct a forensic audit of the FMC including projects before and during the tenure of Kolajo, alleging that the interim administrator has been ruling the organistrator had been ruling the organisation like an emperor without any regard for te doctors in the hospital.
 
 The doctors also stated that the cold war between the association and the management of the hospital had led to the invasion of the ARD Lounge at the hospital by some hoodlums who destroyed their property worth millions of naira. 
 
 
 Should the government fail to caution the administrator, Oke declared that the ARD Members woud embark on an indefinite strike any moment, recalling that the association had earier gone on la three-day warining strike on Wednesday last week.
 
 Some of the allegations levelled against Kolajo by the ARD include "unjust relocation letter given to 17 Resident Doctors to exit the FMC against national recognised residency training guidelines.
 
"Non-recognition of the ARD in the hospital whereas due recognition was given to other unions. Use of foul and abusive language on ARD members against public service rules. Such words included bunch of vagabonds, bunch of nonetitiesm bunch of idiots, riff-faff among others".
 
 However, Kolajo, when contacted on the telephone for his reaction on allegaions, said he was not in the office but would be available to speak with our corresoindent today.
"I am not around let us meet tomorrow (today) in my Office".
