Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State is to complete the building project of the Cancer Screening Centre in Makurdi which was started by the previous administration.
Wife of the governor, Mrs. Eunice Ortom made the disclosure while speaking at this year’s breast cancer awareness campaign held at the Benue State University (BSU)’s campus. Mrs Ortom noted that the completion of the project would reduce the medical tourism embarked upon yearly by citizens of the state to seek treatment abroad.
