The Gombe State Primary Health Care Development Agency will soon immunise 654, 047 children against poliomyelitis virus in the second round of polio immunisation in six local government areas of the state.
This follows the detection of circulated polio virus in Borno State. The deputy director of the agency, Alhaji Musa Ibrahim Kuna, who disclosed this to newsmen in Gombe, said over 647, 000 children were immunised in the first round conducted between May 9 and 12, 2016.
