The Bauchi State Government will construct prototype healthcare centres and other projects in18 out ofits 20 local government areas.
The two LGAs exempted from the project are Bauchi and Dass.
Special Assistant to the state governor on Development Partners and Non-Governmental Organisations, Mansur Manu Soro disclosed in a statement that 37 solar powered boreholes, 18 VIP toilets and 18 staff houses will also be constructed. According to him, the approval of the project which was under the Sustainable Development Goals programmes (SDGs) also include the provision of 18 units of various hospital equipment, six ambulances, and 55 hand pump boreholes.
