Payment of AMLSN Memebership Dues into AMLSN UBA Account NO 1001617455
Following the adoption byy MLSCN of the Proposal from AMLSN to allow members of AMLSN to pay directly into th UBA Account of the Association as state above, series of enquires from memebers at home and in Diaspora have been made on the total amount payable to AMLSN's account.
I hereby Clarify as follows: Annual Due 6,000.00
E-learning Sustenance fees 2,000.00
AMLSN National Secretariat Building levy 5,000.00(payable only in 2016 and 2017)
Legal Fees 5,000.00(for those that have not paid before)
Any other outstanding arrears * individuals to determine this please
Please not that:
(1) The Legal fee was introduced during the AGM in Ilorin in 2007 and it is paid only once; so those that have paid before do not need to pay that again
(2) At the Annual General Meeting of the Association held in Port Harcourt, Rivers State on Friday October 16, 2015, the report of the AMLSN Committee on Special Duty charged with strategies for sourcing funds for the building of AMLSN National Secretariat in Abuja was presented and adopted by the AGM Memebers therefore passed a resolution to commence payment of Ten thousand Naira(N10,000)spread over two years ie 2016 and 2017 at the rate of N5,000.00 per year.
(3) No Doubt dear members, the present NEOs of AMLSN do not intend to impose any hardship especially financial hardship on our members. This is merely one of the necessay sacrifices needed for the willingness to be at par with several other reputable professional Association and Union some of which are not as endowed as AMLSN and her members, but are having eviable permanent National Secretariat for their Bodies.
(4) We solicit the support of all members in this respect. We realized that when a similar building levy was adopted for the building of MLSCN Corporate Headquarters few years ago some members initially objected to iit and rather preferred to do that for building of AMLSN National Secretariat. However, after complying with the MLSCN building payment this is what we envisioned for AMLSN about the building of her National Secretariat in Abuja.
(5) Memebers are directed to indicate the State Branch/Chapter of Practice on the bank teller after the payment of the above fees and send it to National Fin Secretary on [email protected]; National Treasurer on [email protected] and the National President on [email protected]. They should also send a copy to their respective State Chairman for their records too.
(6) All memebers are assured that they will benefit from the National Secretariat Building when completed Because provision for guest rooms on one of the floor of the building where members will have opportunity of lodging wen ever they have anything to do in Abuja will be made. Those residents in Abuja will also have opportunity to recommend a very close relation to benefit from the guest rooms.
