The Nigerian Medical Association, NMA, has announced that two of its members who were kidnapped about two weeks ago have been released by their abductors.
Doctor Ibifubara Aprioku was kidnapped at her home in Abuloma while Doctor Isaac Opurum was abducted around Iwofe area both in Port Harcourt.

Spokesman of the NMA in Rivers state, Doctor Ibiso Bruce said that both Doctors were released last night.
Bruce however did not disclose if any ransom was paid for their release.
Recall that the NMA had embarked on a three-day warning strike last week to protest the persistent abduction of doctors in Rivers state.
