Delayed December Salary: Fund meant for payment of our December salary was regionalised from GIFMIS to IPPIS account for reasons that could not be ascertained

All Government agencies (FMOH, AGF, and FAAC) involved in approving funds for payments of centers affected by similar problems have been contacted and efforts are actively being made to ensure that our December salary is paid as soon as possible

Ten Months Relativity:

Ten months relativity shortfalls were due to the board decision of 3 years of residency before promotion to conmess 3, rather than immediately after passing part1 examinations, which is the lawful criterion recognised by the Postgraduate Training Colleges and the Residency Training Template

Lassa Fever:

The FMOH has requested that we join and take lead in the fight against the spread of lassa fever virus.

The management claimed that the delay in resumption of new residents in pediatrics and ophthalmology is due to the demise of the chairman of the Federal Character Commission. However, they promised that the new residents will resume by the first of February, 2016
