Saudi German Hospital Dubai mulls Nigerian Centre

SAUDI Gennan Hospital, Dubai, a multi-specialist hospital in Dubai, largely patronised by Nigerian is set to establish its centre in the country. 

Speaking at an interactive session to announce its mission in Lagos, the International Marketing Manager of the hospital, Sennira Dikbas, said the reason for coming to Nigeria was to bring world's standard medical care to the nation's doorstep. 

According to him, every month, more than 2,500 Nigerians go to the hospital for medical care, adding that if the hospital that is operating with full Gennan technology is located in Nigeria, it would reduce the medical tourism, save money for the COl.U11Iy and also help the poor ones who don't have money for air ticket to go abroad for medical care. 

Dikbas said that locating the hospital in Nigeria would be a win-win situation for both 

Nigerians and the hospital. According to him, the multi-specialist hospital with many affiliations boasts of the highest technology in health care, adding that in 2013, it won an award as the best hospital in Saudi Arabia 

His words: 'The Saudi Gennan Hospital, Dubai, has been associating with Nigerians for the past 25 years. 

And I want to tell you authoritatively tb,at every month, not less than 2,500 Nigerians go there for medical care. 

We have the biggest hospital in Saudi Arabia and right now, we have six hospitals in different parts of the Arab world with over 2,000 bed spaces. Our decision to come to Nigeria is to bring quality health care into the COl.Utility and through that reduce the high medical flight abroad.
