The senate has passed into law the bill for an act to establish the National Institute for Cancer Research and Treatment after a clause-by-clause consideration of its committee on health report.
The Senate president said the passed bill will go a long way to ensure that cancer is fought head long and also be able to reduce the mortality due to cancer in the country.
The bill for an act to establish the chartered institute for management accountants of Nigeria was also passed at second reading.
