Silgrey Royal Hospital and Maternity situated in Awka, Anambra state, Nigeria is currently recruiting to fill the following position;

Position: Medical Officers [MOs]

Duties/Responsibilities:

. Add to team effort by achieving results.

. Manage consistency and accuracy of medical fitness for duty assessments of medical evaluation personnel.

. Supervise execution of rules, regulations, guidance and policy to assess patients.

. Develop and assign work to medical evaluation staff.

. Function as primary care manager to offer medical examination, diagnosis and treatment.

. Develop objectives and goals of outcomes and effectiveness research within program areas.

. Coordinate health sharing on educational or informational materials for medical advice.

. Develop departmental policy and programs.

. Function as lead medical expert on critical medical problems, primary care programs and complex issues.

. Supervise medical management departments and direct to Medical Directors and staff on medical issues and concerns.

. Provide medical care to members by developing, executing and interpreting medical policies.

. Offer medical guidance and interpretation for UM issues on prior authorizations, concurrent review and discharge planning.

. Guarantee provider network meets strategic goals and liaise with provider groups for medical practice.

. Oversee and engage in provider recruitment activities.

. Ensure stability and reputation by complying with accreditation requirements.

Qualification/Requirements:

. Applicants must possess MBBS certificate.

. Applicants must possess valid practicing license.

. Applicants must have a minimum of 1-3 years clinical experience.

. Excellent communication/interpersonal skill.
