Occupational physicians are doctors who specialize in the health issues that arise in the workplace. They are employed as consultants to determine the cause of a work-related injury, decide how serious it appears to be, and assess the job site where the incident occurred. They conduct medical screenings or tests for an employer. Silverleafafrica is looking for professionals to train other professionals and our human resource capacity in this field. The training would allow our professionals to acquire same standard of training like other international centres and further obtain a Diploma in occupational medicine with the approval of the Faculty of the Occupational Medicine UK.
Responsibilities
• Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences
• Develop schemes of work, lesson plans, learning materials
• Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities
• Participate in department meetings, post-assessment meetings, business strategy meetings.
• Provide excellent services to students
• Advise students on courses and services
• Assemble class start and marketing materials
QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS
• Occupational health degree in combination with MBBS, Nursing or related fields from an accredited institution.
• Excellent time management, project management and organizational skills
• High energy level, confident, and optimistic demeanour with the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
• High professional ethics and team player with a diligent work ethic
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills

NATURE OF ROLE: 10hrs per week to deliver trainings for candidates. Training is to prepare candidates to acquire the FACULTY OF OCCUPATIONAL MEDICNE UK DIPLOMA
