Novo Nordisk an international pharmaceutical firm of high repute is currently recruiting to fill the following position;
Position: Diabetes Product Manager
Location: Nigeria.
Job Description:
This exciting opportunity would suit an experienced, well-qualified, enthusiastic marketer who is looking to demonstrate their product manager capabilities with our world class diabetes products in a challenging and rewarding affiliate spanning 48 countries.
You will have the opportunity to join a small, dynamic, and high performing team which works cross functionally with sales, medical, and market access in order to support continued commercial success of the Novo Nordisk Portfolio for Nigeria.
Novo Nordisk Middle Africa business unit was formed in early 2012. This affiliate is composed of 16 nationalities spanning 48 countries in Africa. Novo Nordisk has an established presence with human insulin across Middle Africa and our focus today is to sustain the growth of the market, ensure availability of better quality modern insulin within the markets and support the communities living with diabetes.
Reports To: The position is based in Nigeria and reports to Marketing Manager based in Dubai.
Duties/Responsibilities:
As Diabetes Product Manager, you will develop and implement strategic product direction, forecast product revenues, and develop product promotional budgets and projects. You will also develop product brand image through a strong brand plan and execution of tactical plans.
You will also be responsible for collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders and developing strong KOL relationships.
Qualifications/Requirements:
You hold a university degree in a related area of specialization. You have at least 3 years of experience in product management within the pharmaceutical field. You are proficient in English. You are equipped with excellent analytical skills and stakeholder management. You demonstrate ability to see the big picture and provide useful advice and input. You are problem solving, result-oriented, multi-tasking, and carry capacity to work under pressure.
You are required to travel frequently within sub-Saharan Africa.
