The faculty of dental surgery of the west african college of surgeons presents Basic Surgical Skills Course in ORAL & MAXILLOFACIAL SURGERY
The course targeted at resident doctors and general dental practioners is to cover the following basics in the form of short instructional lectures and subsequent practical sessions:
1. Theater room decorum
2. Surgical Knot tying and instrument handling
3. Wire Preparation and Wiring techniques
4. Principles of Osteosynthesis
5. Sutures and Suturing Techniques.
6. The art of assisting
7. Third Molar Surgery
