Applications are open now for the World Heart Federation Emerging Leaders program. The deadline for applications is 30 September. This edition of the program focuses on tobacco control.
The program brings 25 young professionals from different domains and different parts of the world to develop action on non-communicable diseases and cardiovascular diseases; it involves an online course and a five-day think-tank in Bangalore, India (15-19 February 2016). For tobacco control, WHF is specifically seeking a broader range of disciplines, as well as more variety among health professionals.
As nurses have an important role in tobacco control, ICN and WHF encourage you to apply!
