FEDERAL SCHOOL OF PSCYHIATRIC/MENTAL HEALTH NURSING, ADMISSION INTO 2024. POST BASIC MENTAL HEALTH AND PSYCHIATRIC NURSING TRAINING PROGRAMME

Applications are invited from suitably qualified Nurses seeking admission into the Post Basic Mental Health/Psychiatric Nursing Training Programmed for the 2024/2025 academic year.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

Interested candidate should be holders of RN certificate and any other relevant certificate. In addition, candidates must possess the Senior Secondary School Certificate or its equivalent with credits in at least five subject to include English language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics in not more than two sittings.

DURATION OF THE COURSE

  • 18 Calendar months commencing from April, 2024 - November, 2025

  • Hostel accommodation is available

METHOD OF APPLICATION

  • Eligible candidates can download the APPLICATION FORM from www.fspmhnursingcal.net or obtain the form at Federal School of Mental Health/Psychiatric Nursing, Mary Slessor Avenue, Calabar with a non-refundable application fee of Fifteen Thousand Naira (15,000) Only.

METHOD OF PAYMENT

  • Visit any commercial bank and pay the Application Form Fee through the REMITA Platform. Pay to Federal Psychiatric Hospital, Calabar - School Fees/Charges.

Completed application form accompanied by photocopies of relevant certificate and copy of the bank teller and printout should be returned to the undersigned on or before 15th March, 2024

CLOSING DATE

  • The closing date for submission of completed application forms to the school is 15th March 2024; late entry will not be entertained.
