There will be admission of eligible candidates into Schools of Nursing in Akwa Ibom State for the Basic Nursing Programme 2022.

A. Registration:  Commences from Monday 24th January – Friday 25th February, 2022 between the hours of 8:30am – 3:00pm daily except public holidays and weekends. 

B. Venue: Registration will ONLY take place at Nursing Services Directorate, Ministry of Health, Headquarters, Idongesit Nkanga Secretariat, Uyo. 

C. Qualification: WASSCE, GCE, NECO or NABTEB with credits in English Language, Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings, NABTEB Result cannot be combined with any other. 

D. Registration / Processing Fee

i. Registration fee:

(a) Indigenes – N5,000.00

(b) Non-Indigenes – N7,000.00

ii. Processing fee – N7,000.00

iii. Nursing and Midwifery Committee – N500.00

iv Customized file – N500.00

Total: 

• Indigenes – N13,000.00
• Non-Indigenes – N15,000.00

E. Requirements for Registration 

i. Three recent Colour passport photographs 

ii. Original and two photocopies each of the following: 

• Educational Certificates – FSLC, WASSCE, GCE, NECO or NABTEB
• Birth certificate or Age Declaration 
• Certificate of Local Government of Origin
• Change of name (if applicable) 

iii. Age (16 years and above)

F. Date of Entrance Examination: Saturday 5th March, 2022
