There will be admission of eligible candidates into Schools of Nursing in Akwa Ibom State for the Basic Nursing Programme 2022.

1. Registration: Commences from Monday 11th July, - 12th August, 2022 between the hours of 8:30am – 3:00pm daily except public holidays and weekends.
2. Venue: Registration will ONLY take place at Nursing Services Directorate, Ministry of Health, Headquarters, Idongesit Nkanga Secretariat, Uyo. 
3. Qualification: WASSCE, GCE OR NECO with credits in English Language, Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Mathematics in not more than two sittings. 
4. Registration / Processing Fee 

Registration Fee: 

• Indigenes – N5,000.00
• Non-Indigenes – N7,000.00
• Processing Fee – N8,000.00
• Nursing and Midwifery Committee – N500.00
• Customized file – N500.00

Total 

• Indigenes – N14,000.00
• Non-Indigenes – N16,000.00

Requirements for Registration 

• Three recent Colour passport photographs
• Original and two photocopies of each of the following:

Educational Certificate – FSLC, WASSCE, GCE OR NECO

Birth Certificate or Age Declaration 

Certificate of Local Government of Origin

Change of name (if applicable)

• Age (16 years and above)

Date of Entrance Examination: - Saturday 20th August, 2022
