We are an indigenous non-profit and non-governmental organization with Head Office in Abuja and field offices in several locations in Nigeria. We are in the business of saving lives, making life more meaningful and productive for all Nigerians and especially for people living with, and affected by HIV.

We need dynamic, highly skilled and passionate persons to work with our highly experienced team at our Head and state offices in the capacity below:

Job Title: Clinical Mentor

Location: Lagos

Type: Short Term Hire

Job Responsibilities

  • Provision of technical assistance to health facilities in improving of quality of care for survivors
  • Provision of “needs based’’ capacity building activities for gender champions both at facility and community level
  • Increased number of facilities that provides GBV services
  • Support for implementation of Routine Enquiry within selected facilities in the state

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must possess a Degree in Medicine (MBBS or equivalent).
  • Post graduate qualification/Masters level training in Public Health, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics or Obstetrics will be an advantage.
  • Must be registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria
  • At least 2 years experience in clinical HIV and AIDS care, including the provision of antiretroviral therapy (ART)
  • Experience with program planning, assessment, and implementation of HIV clinical care programs will be an added advantage.
  • Previous experience in HIV-related operational research is an advantage
  • Good knowledge of current trends and normative guidance (national and international) in HIV clinical care and service delivery
  • Willingness to travel to clinics and hospitals in assigned geographical areas within the State

  • Ability to analyze and interpret data, and write reports
  • Capacity to operate both as a team player in large diverse teams as well as individually.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Proficiency in the use of computers and software / applications such as presentation software, spreadsheets, and video conferencing.
