The David Umahi Federal University of Health Sciences (DUFUHS)Uturu, Ebonyi State wishes to announce to the general public that the sale of admission forms for the 2026/2027 academic session into the following programmes has commenced.

 

1. Medicine & surgery (MBBS)

2. Pharmacy (Pharm. D)

3. Nursing Science (BNS)

4. Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS)

5. Physiotherapy (DPT)

6. Biomedical Engineering (B. Eng.)

7. Radiography and Radiation Science (B.Sc.)

8. Optometry (OD)

9. Computer Science (B.Sc.)

10.Industrial and Medical Physics (B.Sc.)

11. Industrial and Medicinal Chemistry (B.Sc.)

12. Industrial Mathematics and Health Statistics (B.Sc.)

13. Biology/Biotechnology (B.Sc.)

14. Dentistry (BDS)

15. Microbiology/Parasitology (B.Sc.)

16. Public Health (B.Sc.)

17. Human Nutrition & Dietetics (B.Sc. )

 

QUALIFICATION FOR ADMISSIONS

1. To qualify for admission into any of the programmes, candidates MUST make the University their first choice in JAMB. Such candidates must possess at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English and Mathematics in WAEC, NECO or its equivalents. He/she must have sat and obtained a minimum score of 150 and above in the 2026 JAMB.
2. Other qualified candidates who did not make the University their first choice but scored 150 and above in JAMB can do change of institution on JAMB Portal to make the University their first choice before applying for admissions.
3. Candidates who did not write JAMB at all but wish to study in the University can equally apply for the Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) programme of the University. The IJMB programme is for a period of one year, after which the candidate can be admitted directly into the 200 level without writing JAMB.
4. Please note that the sale of form closes by 4.00pm, August 30, 2026.

 

MODE OF REGISTRATION/PAYMENT

Candidates are required to visit our website www.dufuhs.edu.ng or www.kdums.edu.ng and click on undergraduate application and follow the procedure to obtain an admission form for either UTME or IJMB after making a payment of ten thousand naira (N10, 000.00) only through the Remita payment platform.
