We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

Location: Ikorodu, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations on patients using high-frequency sound waves and specialized equipment.
• Obtain and record patient history, explain the procedure, and answer any questions.
• Position patients and equipment to obtain optimal images and interpret findings.
• Analyze and evaluate ultrasound images for diagnostic purposes, recognizing normal and abnormal anatomy.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assess patient conditions and determine appropriate ultrasound protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure patient confidentiality.
• Ensure the safety, cleanliness, and proper functioning of equipment.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques.

Requirements

• Relevant Degree or certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field with at least 5 years experience.
• Proven work experience as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and software.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Must be a resident around Ikorodu, Lagos.
