The Management and staff of the Federal College of Dental Technology and Therapy, Enugu invite applications from interested and suitably qualified candidates to fill the following positions:

Job Title: Director, Health Services

Location: Enugu

Employment Type: Full Time

Qualification and Experience

Prospective candidates should possess an M.B.B.S, B.D.S, or equivalent medical degree plus an NYSC discharge Certificate or Evidence of Exemption. Fellowship of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria or its equivalent is compulsory. A higher degree will be an advantage. In addition, he/she must be duly registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria and have a minimum of twenty (20) Years Post qualification experience in clinical medicine and public health work in comparable degree-awarding health institutions. Applicants must be ICT compliant. In addition, there will be IT proficiency tests for all applicants. should not be older than sixty (60) years of age upon appointment and should be within the sixty-five (65) years retirement age at the expiration of his/her tenure.

Responsibilities

The Director of Health Services is responsible to the Rector for the organization and functioning of the Medical and Dental Services of the College. He/She is also responsible for coordinating the treatment of members of staff and their families as well as the students of the college.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Salary and conditions of service shall be by the Public Service salary structure for this category of officers.

Tenure

It shall be five (5) years initially renewable once.
