Job Title: Director of Administration
Location: Epe, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
The Director of Administrations must be responsible to the Medical Director for day-to -day general administration of the Hospital.
He / She shall be the Chief Administrative adviser to the Medical Director and Secretary to the Board of Management.
In addition, the Director of Administration shall:
- Participate in formulation, execution and review of policies as directed by the Medical Director and / or the Board.
- Coordinate the activities of support departments in the Hospital.
- Conduct the correspondence of the Board and keep the records of the hospital
- Perform such other functions as the Board or the Medical Director, may from time to time assign to him/her.
Qualifications and Experience
- Candidates must possess a First Degree in Humanities or Social Sciences, Hospital / Health Services Management from a recognized University.
- Possession of Master's Degree or any other relevant higher degrees would be an added advantage.
- Candidates must not have less than twenty (20) years of post-qualification cognate experience in the Administrative cadre in a government establishment.
- Candidates must not be less than Directorate level in a government establishment.
- Fellow or Associate of the Institute of Health Administrators of Nigeria (ISAN) or any other relevant professional certificate is an added advantage.
- Candidate must be ICT compliant.
- Working experience in a hospital is an added advantage.
Salary and Conditions of Service
Salary and conditions of services shall be in accordance with Public Service salary structure forthis category of officers.
Tenure:
The Director of Administration shall exit office on the attainment of 60 years of age or 35 years of service or on the ground of 8 years tenure policy.
