A fake account of the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (@NMC_Nigeria) has been created on #Twitter
Incidentally, the account has been providing current updates from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
A correspondent at Nursingworld who spoke to a council official noted that 'the council has NO social media presence on either Facebook, Twitter or Instagram'.
Reacting to this development, Ebikeniye @Ebikeniye_ insisted that 'I will still follow it even if it's fake... Nursing Council should have social media platforms. Look at how people just started following them.Nurses who already followed the account on twitter had this to say'
