Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our healthcare team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing expert advice on drug usage, monitoring patient health, and ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical regulations.
The pharmacist will work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and effective use of medications.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately.
- Review prescriptions for accuracy and ensure no drug interactions.
- Counsel patients on proper medication usage, potential side effects, and storage.
- Maintain accurate records of medications dispensed and patient profiles.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with national drug laws and health standards.
- Manage inventory of pharmaceutical stock and place timely orders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) degree.
- Valid license to practice as a Pharmacist from a recognized pharmacy council or board.
- Proven experience as a pharmacist (community or hospital setting is an advantage).
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and medical terminology.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Salary
N200,000 - N300,000 / month.
