The Gombe State government has raised alarm over the increasing cases of coronavirus in the state, noting that 22 of the 23 cases drawn from a local government sent for tests came back positive.
Commissioner for health, Dr. Ahmad Gana disclosed this yesterday at the press briefing by the committee for the management of COVID-19 led by the deputy governor, Dr. Manassa Jatto on the increasing rate of the virus. “It’s high time we woke up to the reality that is COVID-19, it is ravaging the world, don’t doubt this.”
Deputy governor Jatto, while courting the media for partnership told residents that the virus is real, urging all to embrace COVID-19 protocols.
