Job Title: Gynaecologist

Overview

  • We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Gynecologist to join our medical team in Asaba.
  • The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive gynecological and obstetrical care to patients, ensuring high standards of medical practice and patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough examinations and consultations to diagnose and treat patients with gynecological and obstetrical conditions.
  • Perform routine and specialized diagnostic tests and procedures, including ultrasounds, Pap smears, and colposcopies.
  • Provide prenatal, antenatal, and postnatal care to pregnant women.
  • Perform surgical procedures, including but not limited to, hysterectomies, laparoscopies, and cesarean sections.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and conditions.
  • Educate patients on reproductive health, contraception, and preventative measures.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
  • Stay informed about the latest developments and advancements in gynecology and obstetrics.
  • Participate in community outreach programs and health education initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Medical Degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
  • Valid medical license to practice in Nigeria.
  • Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in a clinical setting.
  • Proficiency in performing gynaecological and obstetrical procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
