We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Head of Clinical Experience (Chief Medical Officer)

Locations: Owerri - Imo and Asaba - Delta

Employment Type: Full-time

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision on all medical activities in the hospital and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
• Formulate and execute clinical strategies that align with the overall goals and mission of the hospital.
• develop and implement healthcare policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with the executive team in making strategic decisions regarding healthcare services, resource allocation, and organizational priorities.
• Monitor and improve the quality of medical services by implementing assurance programs and initiatives.
• Address and mitigate risks associated with patient care, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines.
• Promote effective collaboration and communication among medical personnel, administration, and other departments.
• Support the professional growth and continuing education of medical staff.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations, standards, and licensing requirements.
• Represent the hospital within the hospital community, establish positive relationships, and address healthcare needs.
• Collaborate on public health initiatives and community health programs.
• Contribute to budget planning for the hospital and ensure efficient financial management within the medical department.

Qualifications

• MBBS Degree or its equivalent.
• Full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.
• Valid medical practicing license.
• Over 15 years experience as a chief medical officer
• Completion of NYSC or possession of an exemption certificate.
• Strong leadership qualities and administrative skills.
