We are looking for a Registered Pharmacist to manage the hospital’s pharmacy operations, ensure proper dispensing of medications, and provide expert guidance on safe drug use.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense prescribed drugs accurately and counsel patients on proper usage.
- Verify prescriptions for legality, safety, and potential drug interactions.
- Maintain adequate inventory of drugs and medical supplies.
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure adherence to dispensing protocols.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and professional standards.
- Participate in medication reviews, audits, and stock control processes.
- Educate clinical teams and patients on drug-related issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
- Current license with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and high ethical standards.
