Job Title: Junior Doctor

Job Summary
- The Junior Doctor provides clinical support in patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care under the supervision of senior medical staff.
- The role involves delivering high-quality medical services, managing routine clinical duties, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Duties:
- Conduct patient consultations, history taking, examinations, and preliminary diagnosis.
- Assist senior doctors in managing patient care plans.
- Order and interpret basic diagnostic tests (lab, imaging, etc.).
- Provide treatment based on established clinical guidelines and escalate complex cases.
- Participate in ward rounds, outpatient clinics, emergency duties, and on-call rotations.
- Administer medications, injections, wound care, and minor procedures as required.
Patient Care & Communication:
- Ensure proper patient education on treatment plans and follow-up requirements.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Promote a patient-centered approach in all interactions.
Medical Support & Coordination:
- Work closely with nurses, pharmacists, lab scientists, and other clinicians.
- Refer patients appropriately for specialist care when needed.
- Support emergency response and triage activities.
Compliance & Quality Assurance:
- Adhere to medical protocols, hospital policies, and ethical standards.
- Participate in clinical audits, case reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure infection control and safety standards are strictly followed.
Continuous Learning:
- Stay updated with current medical practices and emerging healthcare trends.
Qualification& Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Medicine or any related role
- 3 – 4 years post-qualification clinical experience (including housemanship).
- Valid medical license or relevant body.
- Basic life support (BLS) or Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certification is an added advantage.
