The Kano State Ministry of Health has confirmed 27 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total confirmed cases in the state to 693. The ministry said on its verified Twitter handle, that 11 additional coronavirus patients were discharged and one death recorded.
It added that there were 546 active cases, with 74 discharged and 33 deaths. “Update as at 11:50 p.m. May 12, 2020; 27 new cases of COVID-19 cases confirmed.
“Total confirmed cases in Kano State are now 693, 11 additional COVID-19 patients discharged and one death recorded in the state.” it said. The ministry enjoined residents to observe safety protocols, social distancing, the use of facemask and to pray for the state.
