Plateau State has recorded its index case of the coronavirus disease, The NAN reports. This brings the total number of states in the country affected by the pandemic to 27 including the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
Plateau State Commissioner for Health, Dr Ninkong Lar Ndam, who confirmed the development said the index patient returned from Kano State recently. Ndam said, “The NCDC on Thursday 23rd April 2020 released its daily COVID-19 Case Update which confirmed the first index case in Plateau State.
