We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Laboratory Technician

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Employment Type: Full-time

 

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, label, and analyze patient samples (blood, urine, stool, etc.)
• Perform routine laboratory tests and procedures accurately
• Operate, clean, and maintain laboratory equipment in accordance with safety standards
• Ensure proper documentation and reporting of test results
• Adhere strictly to laboratory safety, infection control, and quality assurance protocols
• Provide professional support and clear communication to patients and healthcare staff
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements

• Valid professional license/certification as a Laboratory Technician
• Proven experience in clinical laboratory procedures
• Strong attention to detail with a patient-focused approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good organizational and communication skills.
