Lagos State Government on Tuesday announced the death of another COVID19 patient with 14 others recovering from the disease. “Unfortunately, 1 #COVID19 death was recorded,” Lagos State Ministry of Health said on Twitter on Tuesday.
“This brings total number of #COVID19 related deaths in Lagos to 31.” The ministry also stated that 14 more patients – 8 males and 6 females were discharged, making the total number of discharged patients now 261
“Total confirmed cases in Lagos now 1,199,” the ministry said. Lagos remains the epicenter of COVID-19 in Nigeria with 1,199 confirmed cases. The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), has confirmed a total of 2802 cases in the country as of Monday, 4th of May.
The centre also put the number of discharged patients to 417, while 93 deaths have been recorded.
