Role Definition
- The Locum Doctor is responsible for providing temporary medical coverage, conducting patient consultations, performing medical procedures, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
Job Description
- Conduct patient consultations and medical examinations.
- Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions.
- Prescribe medications and recommend treatment plans.
- Perform medical procedures and interventions as necessary.
- Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to patient care discussions.
- Provide guidance and supervision to support staff as needed.
