Job Title: Medical Laboratory Scientist

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• To perform laboratory tests in order to produce reliable and precise data to support scientific investigations in Histopathology.
• To prepare specimens, samples and reagents.
• To operate and ensure regular maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• To participate in equipment validations, calibrations, quality controls and assessment.
• To ensure the laboratory is well-stocked and resourced.
• To promptly and accurately record laboratory results and present to pathologist for approval.
• To ensure safety of all data records generated in the laboratory.
• To keep up to date with technical developments, especially those which can save time improve quality and reliability of processes and results.
• To ensure and adhere to standard laboratory safety measures and checks.
• Involved with scientific meetings in the organization.

Requirements

• BMLS Degree in Laboratory Science majoring in Histopathology
• 2 - 4 years post NYSC work experience.
• Excellent knowledge of anatomic pathology.
• Able to pay attention to details.
• Great communication and organizational skills.
• Team player.

Salary

N140,000 - N150,000 monthly
