Job Description

- We are currently hiring a Medical Officer role to support our Reliance Family Clinic Team at Lekki.
- The role sits in our clinical team to provide excellent primary care to our patients. The role holder ideally will be an individual comfortable with providing appropriate counselling to patients of all ages, at all levels of health literacy and has an interest in driving ongoing innovations in improving primary care delivery.
Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent, evidence-based, patient-centred primary care services to all patients
- Develop and utilize treatment tools that standardize the provision of care in the clinic
- Counsel patients on preventive healthcare practices.
- Develop and execute strategies and initiatives including but not limited to corporate events, wellness checks, etc that will lead to a better experience for corporate clients
- Use electronic medical records systems and electronic diagnostic tools.
Requirements
- Minimum qualification of MBBS or MBChB from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 1 year of post-NYSC clinical experience, specifically in comprehensive primary care settings.
- Proven ability to interpret and apply clinical or scientific research findings to inform treatment decisions.
- Strong diagnostic skills, with the ability to identify symptoms and signs of a wide range of illnesses and injuries, order relevant investigations, and initiate appropriate treatment.
- Proficient in clinical documentation, including accurate and structured patient note-taking.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to work 12-hour shifts (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM) on assigned days.
