Job Title: Medical Officer

Descriptions

• Job openings for a Medical Officer with interest in career development in internal medicine, medical specialties or critical care.

Responsibilities

• Acquire competence through on the job learning in clinical and investigative management of Acute and Chronic medical illness.
• Acquire technical skills in performing basic office procedures and diagnostic tests used to evaluate diseases.
• Participate in all treatment and preventative health care services as delegated and agreed upon the supervising Healthcare provider.
• Maintaining accurate documentation using EMR.
• Maintaining confidentiality and impartiality at all times.
• Liaising with other Healthcare professionals in the hospital.
• Give clinical instruction to Nursing staff and other clinical teams as required.

Requirements

• Degree in Medicine from an accredited University.
• Candidate should possess an MBSS qualification with 1-3 years’ experience
• Compulsory completion of NYSC.
• The candidate should have Up-to-date registration and license to practice medicine from the MDCN (Nigerian Medical and Dental Council Associations)
• Knowledge of general medicine.
• Computer literacy
• Excellent communication skills
• Fantastic counseling and listening skills
• Good organizational and time management skills.
