Job Title: Medical Secretary

Job Description

• As our Medical Secretary, you will be responsible for managing administrative tasks within the hospital to ensure efficient office operations and provide support for medical staff and patients.
• This role involves handling patient records, scheduling appointments, and managing correspondence and often requires knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare procedures.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments and manage cancellations or rescheduling as necessary.
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding their appointments, treatments, and any instructions from the healthcare provider.
• Maintain and update patients' electronic health records (EHR) accurately.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Develop effective working relations and cooperate with the medical team throughout the entire case management process.

Qualifications

• BS degree in a related healthcare field
• A minimum of 2 Years’ Experience working with an EMR would be an advantage.
• Experience working with EHRs, databases and word processing and spreadsheet software.
• Experience with Microsoft Office is required.

Salary
N100,000 - N140,000 / Month.
