Job Title: Medical Specialist

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Description

As a Medical Specialist at Exports Parts Store, you will be responsible for providing expert medical care and advice in a specialized area of medicine to staff.

You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to diagnose and treat staff, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing care and support.

 

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat Staff with complex medical conditions in a specialized area of medicine (e.g., cardiology, pulmonology, neurology).
• Conduct thorough staff assessments, including medical history, physical examination, and diagnostic tests.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual staff needs.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals, including specialists, nurses, and therapists.
• Monitor staff progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Educate staff and their families about medical conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and collaborate on treatment plans.
• Keep accurate and up-to-date medical records.
• Stay current on the latest developments in the field of medicine through continuing education and professional development.
• Maintain professional ethics and confidentiality at all times.
• Contribute to the improvement of clinical processes and protocols.

 

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in a specialized area of medicine.
• State medical license and DEA registration.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing medicine in a specialized area.
• Strong diagnostic and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records and other healthcare technologies.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
