A private hospital in Abuja is inviting applications from suitably Qualified candidates for the following positions

Nurse Manager  

Qualification and Requirements  

Bachelor of Nursing Science (BNSc.) required.  

Masters of Health Administration, Public Health, or related degree such as Business or other Health Care degree (preferable)  

• At least 20 years' working experience  

• Must have at least 5 years Nursing  

• Administration experience  

• Current Practicing License  

• Specialised training (Midwifery. Anaesthesia, Intensive Care, Accident & Emergency, or any other related specialty) Experience and adaptability skills in working directly with Consultants and Physicians in an acute setting  

Ability to evaluate reports, programs, and other data against both judgemental and verifiable criteria  

Coordinate with medical professionals and other departments to ensure hospital efficiency  

• Experience of working with a cross-cultural range of staff and developing training plans and strategies to meet their unique capacity development needs  

• Aptitude for problem-solving  

• Excellent leadership skills  

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint & Excel)  

 

Head of Pharmacy  

Qualifications and Requirements  

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm.) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D.) degree from a college of pharmacy that is accredited by the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria  

Possession of Masters Degree or any other relevant higher degree would be an added advantage  

• At least 20 years' working experience  

• At least 5-7 years' experience at a managerial capacity at a pharmacy  

Current Practicing License  

In-depth knowledge of the pharmacological uses and side effects of prescription drugs and controlled substances Advanced knowledge of protocols regulating the safe storage of prescription drugs and controlled substances  

Ability to proactively follow up any irregularities with scripts processed at the pharmacy  

Stay updated on pharmacy regulations, treatments and development  

• Compliance with all NAFDAC legislations  

• Competency in pharmacy management software  

• Knowledge of quality management standards (e.g. ISO)  

Experience of working with a cross-cultural range of staff and developing training plans and strategies to meet their unique capacity development needs  

• Aptitude for problem-solving  

• Excellent leadership skills  

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word. PowerPoint & Excel)  

 

Head of Laboratory  

Qualifications and Requirements  

• Bachelors Degree in Medical Laboratory Science  

At least 20 years' working experience  

• At least 7-10 years' experience at a managerial capacity at a Medical Laboratory  

• Current Practicing License from the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN)  

• Additional training and experience in laboratory quality management systems  

• Advanced knowledge of medical laboratory protocols  

• Able to work efficiently under time constraints • Strong analytical skills  

• Knowledge of quality management standards (e.g. ISO)  

• Experience of working with a cross-cultural range of staff and developing training plans and strategies to meet their unique capacity development needs  

• Aptitude for problem-solving  

• Excellent leadership skills  

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word. PowerPoint & Excel)  

 

Theatre Manger  

Qualification and Requirements  

• Bachelor of Nursing Science (BNSc.) required,  

Registered Perioperative Nurse RPON At least 20 years' working experience  

• Must have at least 7-10 years' experience at a senior level in the Theatre  

• Current Practicing License  

• Proven experience of managing staff in a theatre setting • BLS/ALS qualifications (desirable)  

• Proven leadership skills  

• Passionate about high quality patient care  

• Experience of working with a cross-cultural range of staff and developing training plans and strategies to meet their unique capacity development needs  

• Aptitude for problem-solving  

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word. PowerPoint & Excel)  

 

Senior Registrars - O&G, Paediatrics, Anaesthesia

Qualffication and Requirements

• Candidates for this position must have passed part one examination of the National Post-Graduate Medical College of Nigeria or West African College of Physicians/Surgeons or their equivalents  

All candidates must be fully registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria and have a current practising license  

 

Medical Officers    

• All candidates must be fully registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria and have a current practising license  

• Diploma in Anaesthesia will be an added advantage  

 

Registered Nurses (RN/RM, ICU, Theatre, A&E)  

Qualification and Requirements

• All candidates must be fully registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria and have a current practising license  

 

Head of Medical Records  

Qualifications and Requirements  

• B.Sc./ HND in Health Information Management from a reputable higher institution  

• A minimum of 10 years post-graduation experience Professional Certification in Health Information Management will be an added advantage  

The successful candidate must have the experience of leading/working in a multidisciplinary team structure  

All candidates must be fully registered with the Health Records Officers' Registration Board of Nigeria and have a current practicing license  

 

All candidates must be highly motivated team players willing to go the extra mile; they must possess excellent communication (written and spoken) and interpersonal skills. Computer knowledge is a MUST.
