NIGERIAN NAVY BASIC TRAINING SCHOOL BATCH 36 RECRUITMENT INTERVIEW

The Nigerian Navy wishes to inform the general public that the candidates whose names appear on http://www.joinnigeriannavy,com/ were successful at the Nigerian Navy Basic Training School (NNBTS) Batch 36 Recruitment Examination held on 17 February 2024. The shortlisted candidates are hereby invited to attend an interview to be held concurrently in 2 batches from 30 March to 8 April and 10 – 20 April 2024 for batches A and B respectively. Shortlisted candidates from North East and North West are to report for an interview at the Nigerian Defence Academy Old Site while candidates from North Central and South West are to sit for their interview at the Nigerian Navy Secondary School Ojo, Lagos. Similarly, candidates from South East as well as South South are to report to the Nigerian Navy Secondary School Borokiri Port Harcourt for their interview. A detailed breakdown is shown below:

INSTRUCTIONS FOR CANDIDATES SHORTLISTED FOR NIGERIAN NAVY BASIC TRAINING SCHOOL BATCH 36 INTERVIEW

1. The interview will be conducted concurrently at the centres from 30 March – 20 April 2024. The interview will include screening/verification of credentials/certificates, medical/physical evaluation and written test. Shortlisted candidates are to come along with the following items:

a. Printout of their duly signed application forms.

b. Originals and photocopies of their credentials.

c. Originals and photocopies of valid Drivers’ Licence (Category H only).

d. Original and photocopy of State of Origin/LGA certificate.

e. National Identity Card/Acknowledgment Slip.

f. Writing materials.

g. Two pairs of navy blue shorts and 2 white (unmarked) T Shirts.

h. A pair of canvas/trainers and stockings.

i. Bed sheets and pillowcases.

j. Set of cutlery.

k. Four (4) recent 30X30mm passport-sized photographs on white background.

l. Personal Toiletries (bathing and washing soaps, toothpaste and brush etc.).

2. Candidates will be interviewed individually and if found deficient of any required criterion (criteria), his/her candidature shall be terminated at any stage of the interview.

3. If any information/declaration given by the candidates at any time during the entire selection process is found to be fake/false/wrong, his/her candidature shall be cancelled and he/she may be handed over to the Nigeria Police Force for possible prosecution.

4. Failure by any candidate to provide accurate information concerning his/her medical history during the entire selection process as stated on the Medical Examination Pro forma will result in automatic withdrawal from training and dismissal even when already in the Service.

5. Any candidate who fails to report for screening at a specified centre for their State of Origin on the stipulated date for his/her Batch will forfeit his/her candidature.

6. Candidates are to report with a copy of their BVN.

7. Candidates found with false/forged documents shall be arrested and prosecuted.

8. Impostors shall be arrested and prosecuted.

9. All concerned are to note and comply accordingly.
