QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THE POSITIONS 

Computer Literacy is required for all positions. 

1. Professor 

• PhD holder with minimum of 10 years teaching and research experience at University level and must have spent at least 2 years as a Reader. 
• Appreciable number of publications in reputable journals. 
• Postgraduate Fellowship in relevant field (FWACP, FMCPath, FMCPH or their equivalents.) 
• MBBS+PhD Or B.Sc/MBBS+M.Sc+PhD 

2. Associate Professor 

• In addition to above, candidate must be a PhD holder with minimum of 7 years teaching and research experience at University level. 
• Must have spent 3 years as Senior Lecturer. 

3. Senior Lecturer 

• A PhD holder with a minimum of 6 years of teaching and research experience at University level. 
• Appreciable number of publications in reputable journals. 
• Postgraduate Fellowship in relevant field (FWACP, FMCPath, FMCPH or their equivalents.) 
• MBBS+PhD Or B.Sc/MBBS+M.Sc+PhD 
• Must have spent 3 years as Lecturer I

4. Lecturer I 

• A PhD holder with appreciable number of publications in reputable journals. 
• Postgraduate Fellowship in relevant field (FWACP, FMCPath, FMCPH or their equivalents.) 
• MBBS+PhD Or B.Sc/MBBS+M.Sc+PhD 
• Must have spent 3 years as Lecturer II 

5. Lecturer II 

• Minimum of B.Sc + M.Sc degree with appreciable number of publication points or postgraduate Fellowship in relevant field (FWACP, FMCPath, FMCPH or their equivalents).
